“Mass media Influence on Society”


These are some of the essay question which we usually encounter during our high school life. And, usually we would give like 3 positive effects and 3 negative impacts on society.
Tv is one of the mass media, and usually I would write something like “conveying the wrong info and message” as the negative influence.

Hmmm…after so many years, yesterday only I realized this essay question is actually quite practical. ( i.e. my school life was exam-and-high-marks orientated). It can be seen in Making Miracles.

Making Miracles(Chinese: 奇迹 ) is a Singaporean Chinese Drama which is telecast on 8TV from 5pm-6pm Monday to Thursday. This is an old drama which I missed when it was telecast on Astro AEC. But now it’s on 8TV. In my opinion, it’s overall good for singapore drama, off course you don’t compare it with Dr. HOUSE.

If you are observant enough, Fann Wong the well-known actress is using the stethoscope inappropriately^^. (Though it’s covered by her silky hair, the metal tube is facing backward.)


Let me be the model today.haha…

Firstly, the round black cushion on the tip of the metal tube must be pointing forward.

Then slowly, put it onto your ears.(aiz..bad posture--a bit kyphosis)

ok tis picture look better. (see, the metal tube is pointing forward and it fit into my ears)

haiz...growing fatter evryday wit mom's cookings. upper limbs look professional, im actually wearing short pants for lower limbs.haha.

Using this correct way, you can listen all the heart murmurs and lung crepitations clearly. But sorry no guarantee…haha.(it also depend on your skillsla.) But if u use Fann Wong's way, i guarantee u may not hear anything at all.hehehe...

p/s: tis post have no intention to criticize any party and i still like Fann Wong. only v need2 practise correct medicine. haha..
